We have a position available for a Traffic Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with 1 to 6 years’ experience, ideally from a consulting background.
You will be involved in a range of exciting major projects throughout Southeast Queensland covering all stages of planning, design construction and operation.
To be successful in this role we are specifically looking for the following key requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior experience with geometric roads, intersection and car park designs.
An understanding of relevant standards such as QTMR, Austroads and Australian Standards.
Some experience with Sidra and AutoCAD software.
Well-developed spoken and written English communication skills coupled with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions to a variety of audiences.
Some experience in QLD gained in either local or state government, or ideally a consultancy firm.
You will be involved in a wide range of projects from traffic impact assessments to parking studies, construction traffic management and traffic engineering design. It is anticipated that you will manage your own projects and have direct contact with clients, road authorities and other key stakeholders.
We have offices in Brisbane and the Gold Coast and offer flexible working arrangements.
